Dear Mary Ellen -- I really must take a moment and again thank you for all you are doing! Since we have not yet met, I think of you as this sort of magical angel; just appearing and giving aid to the needy!!!!

Thank you so much for all you have done and continue to do. I don't think any of us fully appreciate the long-term benefits of your participation. Your efforts have a cumulative effect. "This one talks to that one", etc. -- and suddenly you have greatly expanded the awareness of PAWS-SD. And your "celebrity connections" really give a boost to the whole thing. If only they could understand how really important their involvement is...

So sorry I can't make the "Star" celebration today, or the party tomorrow evening. I know they will be GREAT!
